Strata and commercial painters on the Northern Beaches
Our base is in Manly. We paint strata common areas, low façades and commercial spaces across the Northern Beaches, with preparation suited to salt air.

Why coastal buildings need more preparation
Salt spray, wind and sun break paint down faster near the water. Railings and steel fixings rust and stain the surrounding render (more in our guide to painting coastal buildings). On a coastal repaint we allow for:
- Thorough washing to remove salt before any coating
- Rust treatment and priming on steel and fixings
- Crack and joint preparation before painting
- Coatings chosen for exposed coastal conditions, listed in the quote
Recent work nearby
Dee Why. Washing, render repairs and repainting across eight strata buildings. The high sections were done by rope access through ACE Abseiling, in the same program.
Mosman. More than 130 timber windows prepared and repainted inside and out.
We cover Manly, Fairlight, Balgowlah, Freshwater, Curl Curl, Dee Why, Collaroy, Narrabeen, Mona Vale, Brookvale and Frenchs Forest.
Coastal painting
Salt air is hard on paint, so coastal homes get more washing and preparation before recoating.

Northern Beaches painting questions
Which Northern Beaches suburbs do you cover?
All of them, from Manly and Fairlight up to the northern suburbs and across to Frenchs Forest. Our base is in Manly.
How often do coastal buildings need repainting?
It depends on exposure, the coating and how well the surfaces were prepared. Buildings facing the water usually need washing and maintenance more often than inland buildings. Our guide on painting coastal buildings explains the main factors.
Do you paint in windy or wet weather?
Paint is not applied in rain, on wet surfaces or in conditions outside the manufacturer's limits. The program allows for weather days.
Can high sections be done at the same time?
Yes. Sections above ground level can be done by rope access through ACE Abseiling, in the same program, as at Dee Why.
